International Seed Day Celebration

April 26th, 2026

On the occasion of International Seed Day, our organization is hosting an event dedicated to the protection and exchange of seeds from local populations and traditional varieties, as the foundation of food sovereignty.

We invite all interested participants to join us and contribute to the preservation of biodiversity and strengthening the right of communities to independently produce and choose food.

Seeds are the foundation of all agricultural production and a key resource for food sovereignty. The preservation and exchange of farmer seeds enable greater independence and resilience.

In the context of climate change, land degradation, and global crises, local seeds are becoming one of the key elements of resilience and sustainable food production.

Bring your seeds and join the exchange of knowledge and experience – together we preserve our food and future.
